LTM4655 μModule® Regulator

ADI's LTM4655 is an ultra-low noise 40 V, dual 4 A or single 8 A DC/DC μModule regulator designed to meet the radiated emissions requirements of EN55022. Its channels are fully independent, parallelable, and capable of delivering positive or negative output polarity. Included in the package are the switching controllers, power MOSFETs, inductors, filters, and support components. A 5 V, 25 mA LDO, and clock generator enable phase interleaving of the power switching stages for improved EMC performance.

DC2594A is a step-down DC/DC converter and an inverting DC/DC converter with a 13 V to 28 V input voltage range, +12 V at 4 A, and -12 V at up to 2.5 A outputs featuring the LTM4655. The LTM4655 is an EN55022B compliant 40 V, dual 4 A or single 8 A step-down or 50 W inverting DC/DC μModule regulator.

The switching frequencies of both channels are set at 1.2 MHz on DC2594A. If the output voltage collapses sufficiently due to an overload or short-circuit condition, the internal oscillator will fold back to one-fifth of the LTM4655’s programmed switching frequency, protecting the power switch from damage.
