LT7200S Monolithic Synchronous Buck Regulator

ADI's LT7200S is a quad-channel, high-efficiency monolithic synchronous buck regulator capable of sinking/sourcing 5 A to the load per channel. It is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that operate at high-frequency while demanding fast transient response thanks to its constant frequency, current-mode architecture, and phase-lockable-controlled on time. The LT200S’s multichannel flexibility with compact layout is ideal for powering complex systems. The operating supply voltage range is from 2.9 V to 18 V, making it suitable for various supply applications from a 3.3 V, 5 V, to 12 V supply.

Evaluation kit DC2851A is a quad-channel synchronous step-down regulator featuring the LT7200S. The DC2851A operates from an input voltage range of 2.9 V to 18 V, with each regulator capable of delivering ±5 A output current. The evaluation kit is designed for 1.2 V, 1.8 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V outputs with switching frequency set at 1 MHz. It provides LT7200S-based multichannel combinations for flexible output current ratings.
