HMC8410 / HMC8401 Wideband LNA (RF and Microwave Amplifiers)
GaAs pHEMT MMIC low noise amplifiers, DC to 28 GHz by Analog Devices
ADI's HMC8401 is a gallium arsenide (GaAs), pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (pHEMT), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC). The HMC8401 is a wideband low noise amplifier which operates between DC and 28 GHz.
The HMC8410 is a GaAs, MMIC, pHEMT, low noise wideband amplifier that operates from 0.01 GHz to 10 GHz.
- Very wide bandwidth: 0.01 GHz to 10 GHz, low noise amplifier suitable for very wideband applications
- Very low noise figure under 2 dB across the entire bandwidth improves overall receiver noise figure with a single component saving board space
- LFCSP package: very small board space
- PSAT output power of up to 22.5 dBm enables the LNA to function as a mixer driver, including many ADI balance, I/Q, or image reject mixers
- Internally matched to 50 Ω: wide bandwidth provides the opportunity to service multiple applications and the internal matching saves board space
- Instrumentation
- Military receivers
- Telecom infrastructure
- Fiber optics
