With one of the lowest dynamic powers for microcontrollers currently on the market, the SoC allows designers of next-generation wearables and battery-operated smart devices to take their innovative products to the next level.

The Apollo4 Blue Plus is the 4th generation system processor solution built upon Ambiq's proprietary Subthreshold Power-Optimized Technology (SPOT®) platform. The device's complete hardware and software solution enables current and future battery-powered endpoint devices to achieve a higher level of intelligence without sacrificing battery life. It is built on the 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4 core with a floating point unit (FPU). The Apollo4 Blue Plus with Bluetooth Low Energy is available in BGA packaging. With up to 2 MB of MRAM and 2.75 MB of SRAM, as well as turboSPOT® operating at 192 MHz, Apollo4 Blue Plus has more than enough compute and storage to handle complex AI algorithms and neural networks, always-on voice recognition, and display capability for smooth graphics. It is easy to extend system memory with an eMMC/SDIO interface. Create a high throughput bus to an FPGA or memory for instant access to data with its 16 SPI lanes featured in its HEXSPI, differentiating it from its peers. The -KXR package is conveniently pin-for-pin compatible with the Apollo4 Blue Lite SoC for a path to cost and feature reduction.
