AK5704EN Low-Power 32-bit Four-Channel ADC with MIC-Amp

AKM's high-performance analog front-end ADC is ideal for voice recognition, voice control, and conferencing applications

Image of AKM Semiconductor's AK5704EN 32-Bit ADC with MIC-AmpAKM's AK5704EN has a built-in four-channel, 32-bit ADC and a low-noise microphone amplifier. It extracts the full performance of a high S/N microphone with low power consumption by achieving a dynamic range of 105 dB. It is possible to support up to 16-channel microphone arrays by connecting multiple AK5704ENs. In addition, the AK5704 incorporates a voice activity detector (VAD). Using the VAD as a boot trigger can significantly reduce system power consumption as the rest of the device may be powered off while the VAD consumes only 2.7 mW while waiting for a wake word.

Features
  • Superior low-noise recording with low power consumption
  • Supports ultrasonic recording: up to 192 kHz sampling frequency
  • VAD feature further reduces system power consumption
Applications
  • Smart speakers
  • Conference systems
  • Baby or pet monitors
  • Microphone array systems
  • IC recorders
