CONFOR™ Electronics Grade (EG) Series Polyurethane (PU) Foams
Aearo Technologies' PU foams with cushion and impact protection are available in thicknesses of 1.5 mm and greater
Aearo Technologies' E-A-R™ CONFOR polyurethane foams offer a unique combination of physical characteristics, high-energy absorption properties, and temperature-softening behavior. These foams exhibit no silicone off-gassing and exert low force under high compression, making them ideal for shock protection and gasketing in electronic applications. These slow-recovery materials are soft, flexible, highly damped, and contain no halogens or metal compounds.
The CONFOR EG series foams are available in thicknesses of 1.5 mm and greater for use in thin gap spaces or as thicker cushioning and comfort material. There are multiple Type OOO durometers available from soft to firm including CFNT-EGS (17), CF-40EG (27), CF-42EG (41), CF-45EG (48), and CF-47EG (55).
