The ADAM-4000 modules are easy to use, utilizing only two wires to communicate with their controller or other RS-485 devices. These RS-485 I/O modules use the industry’s most widely used balance, bidirectional transmission line suitable for industrial environments, the EIA RS-485 communication protocol.
These devices also include industrial-grade, rugged cases for reliable operation in harsh environments. Since the microprocessors are built-in, they can individually provide analog I/O, digital I/O, and intelligent signal conditioning, data display, and RS-485 communication through Modbus RTU protocols.
