Round and Flat Copper Heat Pipes

ATS now offers a comprehensive selection of high-performance round and flat copper heat pipes. These low-profile heat pipes are designed to transfer heat with minimal temperature difference or spread the heat across a surface in electronics cooling applications. ATS copper heat pipes, with a temperature range of 30°C to 120°C, offer high thermal-conductivity and are available with grooved or sintered wick-structures. Sintered copper powder wicks are ideal for heat pipes placed in a gravity-adverse orientation.

The round profile heat pipes are available in lengths from 200 mm to 300 mm and diameters from 4 mm to 8 mm. The flat profile heat pipes range from 100 mm to 250 mm in length, 8.2 mm to 10.5 mm in width, and 2.5 mm to 4.5 mm in height. These lightweight heat pipes, ranging from 8 g to 33 g, can be easily attached to heat sinks and other heat dissipating components in order to meet specific application requirements. Each model in the new heat pipe series has been characterized by ATS for both thermal resistance and maximum heat transport capability.
