S-19721 Series Automotive Voltage Tracker with Anomaly Notifications
ABLIC’s voltage tracker is ideal for automotive applications including engine and transmission-related devices
ABLIC's S-19721 is a voltage tracker with one of the industry's lowest class offset voltages of ±4.5 mV. The low offset voltage contributes to a low permissible error in voltage tracking, improving the sensor reading accuracy of various sensors.
The S-19721 has an anomaly notification that detects its abnormal activity and outputs it's status. It can handle three types of abnormalities: overvoltage, overcurrent at the output pin, and heating of itself. It is possible to select the appropriate combination of outputs according to the specifications and applications.

- Input voltage: 4.0 V to 36.0 V
- Output voltage: adjustable down to 2.0 V min.
- Offset voltage: ±4.5 mV (0.1 mA ≤ IOUT ≤ 250 mA)
- Dropout voltage: 330 mV typ. (VADJ = 4.0 V, IOUT = 125 mA)
- Current consumption:
- During operation: 40 μA typ.
- During power-off: 3.7 μA typ.
- Output current: possible to output 250 mA (VIN = VADJ + 2.0 V) (Please make sure that the loss of the IC will not exceed the power dissipation when the output current is large)
- Input capacitor: a ceramic capacitor can be used (4.7 μF or more)
- Output capacitor: a ceramic capacitor can be used (4.7 μF to 1,000 μF)
- Built-in overcurrent protection circuit: limits overcurrent of output transistor
- Built-in thermal shutdown circuit: detection temperature +175°C typ.
- Built-in overvoltage detection circuit: A/B type: detects an output short-circuit of the higher voltage
- Reverse current protection function: IREV = -5 μA min. (VIN = 0 V, VADJ = 5.0 V, VOUT = 16.0 V)
- Anomaly notification function
- INT pin notifies operation anomaly of the IC
- A type: overvoltage, ground fault, overheat
- B type: overvoltage, overheat
- C type: ground fault, overheat
- Operation temperature range: -40°C to +125°C
- Lead-free (Sn 100%), halogen-free
- Withstand 45 V load dump
