ABLIC's window voltage detector features three monitoring functions in a single chip

No external parts are required to convert the high voltage supplied by a battery or other source to the voltage that can be input to microcontrollers. This contributes to fewer parts and a lower standby current.

The S-191L/N series comes in an ultra-small automotive HSNT-8(2030) package and has an ultra-low current consumption of 0.9 μA. A detection voltage monitoring accuracy of ±1.5% (over the entire temperature range) helps improve voltage monitoring accuracy.

Detector Block Features
  • Detection voltage:
    • Undervoltage detection voltage: 4.0 V to 10.0 V (0.05 V step)
    • Overvoltage detection voltage: 16.0 V to 18.0 V (0.1 V step)

    • Undervoltage detection voltage: ±1.5%
    • Overvoltage detection voltage: ±1.5%
  • Hysteresis width selectable options:     
    • Available: 5.0% and 10.0%

  • Release delay time accuracy: ±15% (CD = 3.3 nF)

    • VPMOUT = VSENSE/8 (S-191L series P/Q/R type)

  • Output capacitor (CPM): a ceramic capacitor can be used (0.1 μF to 0.22 μF)
  • Built-in enable circuit: ensures long battery life
