The TPT29306 from 3PEAK is a dual bidirectional voltage-level translator designed for I²C and SMBus communication across mixed-voltage systems. Supporting standard (SM), fast (FM), and fast plus (FM+) modes, the device ensures compatibility with a wide range of digital interfaces. It enables seamless level shifting between multiple voltage combinations, including 1.2 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V supplies. The TPT29306 offers less than 1.5 ns delay, ensuring high-speed operation for demanding systems. Its directionless architecture simplifies design and reduces external control requirements. Compact and robust, the TPT29306 is well-suited for servers, routers, consumer electronics, and industrial automation applications where reliable voltage translation is essential.
- Translates between the following voltage pairs:
- 3.3 V VREF1 and 5 V VREF2
- 2.5 V VREF1 and 3.3 V or 5 V VREF2
- 1.8 V VREF1 and 2.5 V, 3.3 V, or 5 V VREF2
- 1.2 V VREF1 and 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, or 5 V VREF2
- Supports multi-mode I²C: Standard (SM), Fast (FM), and Fast Plus (FM+)
- Voltage-level translation with no direction pin required
- Less than 1.5 ns delay to support fast I²C communication
