TPL8031Q-S 42 V, 300 mA LDO Regulators

The 3PEAK TPL8031Q-S is a low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator designed for automotive environments requiring high-input voltage tolerance, low quiescent current, and robust protection features. With a wide input range of 3 V to 42 V and fixed output options of 3.3 V or 5 V, it is well-suited for cold-crank and start-stop conditions in automotive systems.

This device supports up to 300 mA output current with a typical quiescent current of just 3 µA, making it ideal for always-on applications such as microcontroller standby power, CAN/LIN transceivers, and body control modules. Integrated protection features include overcurrent and thermal shutdown, and the regulator remains stable with a wide range of output capacitors (1 µF to 200 µF, ESR 0.001 Ω to 10 Ω).
