3M's twin axial PCIe extender assemblies for PCIe® 4.0 applications is a family of cable assemblies including X8 and X16 connectors utilizing 3M low-loss twin axial cable 85 Ω, 31 AWG which is ideal for PCIe applications. With their extremely tight bend radius and thin ribbon construction, this family of next-generation twin axial cable assemblies allows for easy routing in even the densest server or rack configurations. They are designed for scalability and tight bends without compromising signal integrity performance.

3M twin axial PCIe extender assemblies for PCIe 4.0 applications allow users to re-locate a PCIe card slot or bridge between slots on two different PCBs, and are compatible with Card Electromechanical (CEM) connectors. By replacing rigid PCB assemblies, the 3M PCI Express extender assemblies can be folded or simply routed to the peripheral card, providing a low-loss extension from the motherboard to the peripheral device.
