1. Brief Introduction of yourself, Weco, and a brief explanation of your main products:

My name is Adriana Galli. I am an engineer by profession, and I have worked in manufacturing my entire career. I enjoy combining my technical and business skills to sell and market products!

I have been at WECO for 6 years and have worked in various capacities within the organization from Product Manager, Marketing Manager, and now Product Sales Manager.

WECO is celebrating 100 years this year! Founded in 1921 in Hanau, Germany, we are an engineering-based company specialized in developing, manufacturing, and optimizing electrical connection solutions for energy, industrial, electrical, and electronic markets. We employ over 350 people in 7 locations around the world, and we are headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

At WECO, we strive to provide excellent value to our customers by developing, enhancing, and adapting various connection solutions. We always strive to get it right the first time, every time, through continuous process improvement and fostering business relationships with customers. 1. How has DigiKey’s Fulfillment program helped you expand your business? It is still too early to say but judging from some of the data we have collected so far, we project that we will definitely expand our business and uncover new opportunities. We are really excited about what lies ahead in the next few years.

2. What benefits are there to selling on DigiKey? Many! To name a few: the opportunities to uncover new business, to be able to offer samples for prototyping that can spark new business, and just to be partnered with a leader in the industry will serve us very well.

3. What growth have you seen since joining us? It is still in the single digits, but we expect to see it increase in the next year or so.

4. Has DigiKey provided any international sale opportunities that did not exist before? Yes most definitely.

5. What was your experience working with the DigiKey team? Amazing! Everyone is so friendly and professional. WECO really feels the teamwork and partnership you provide, and we look forward to growing that relationship.

Yes, most definitely – All our data, sales, and transactions are recorded in detail, and if we have any questions, anyone from our team knows that they can reach out to get clarifications if needed.
