Putting it All Together with dina Amin

If you spend any time on Instagram, you are probably already familiar with dina Amin and her amazing stop animation videos. dina is known as a highly creative stop motion animator, but she is also a very talented maker. If you haven’t come across any of her videos yet, make sure you check out her Instagram page or her Youtube channel, you will not be disappointed!

dina usually works with products that she finds in the trash – such as an old blow dryer - with the goal of not adding unnecessary waste to the environment. In her takedown videos, dina will teardown products & devices to showcase what is going on inside. It’s an eye-catching and riveting way to demonstrate and educate on what brings our everyday products to life.

How does DigiKey fit into all this, you might ask? Well, we were so impressed with the way dina’s videos showcased taking products apart, we wanted to see her spin on putting something together. We contacted dina to see if she was interested in trying something new with us, and she was up for the challenge! Once we decided the who, what, and where - it was game on.

We agreed on the Pimoroni Pirate Radio kit shipped one out to dina to let her work her magic.
