DigiKey Partners with GroupGets to Help Startups GetMade

DigiKey is partnering with GroupGets to help startups GetMade! This partnership will jump in and help those startups who have fallen just short of having a successful crowdfunding campaign. If you are a startup that made it past all the hurdles and struggles of ideating, creating, and prototyping your next great build but are just short of being ready to get made, this is where we can help!

GroupGets was created in 2013 as a crowd-purchasing platform for group buying technology products to help businesses and individuals launch their products by promoting, funding, and distributing electronic devices across the world.

How does it work? And how can you apply? Good question, and here is the answer:

• You must have a working prototype along with documentation of the product (product website, GitHub page, and/or other product resources).
• Share your creativity. How does it stand out from anything else on the market? We are looking for an original idea that is unique among competitors.
• Tell us your Maker story: where you came from and how you stumbled upon this great idea. It doesn’t matter where your full-time job is or who you know. We care about the passion in your project and whom you intended it for.
