Creating Your Own PLC with STMicroelectronics
The STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-OUT01A1 is an expansion board that features ST's ISO8200BQ galvanic 8-channel high power relay. When used with the Nucleo PLC board (X-NUCLEO-PLC01A1), an appropriate STM32 Nucleo development board (NUCLEO-F103RB, NUCLEO-F302R8 and NUCLEO-F401RE), and a wireless shield (X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1), the result is an 8 input/16 0.5 A output industrial PLC with IoT connectivity. This solution gives engineers a head-start in creating a design that utilizes connectivity as well as power without actually using a PLC.
