The six delta-sigma A/D converters of the MCP3903 feature adjustable 16-bit and 24-bit resolution modes. The performance of these ADCs are highly accurate, and each channel features a PGA with gain of up to thirty two. The MCP3903 can measure high frequency signals with its adjustable sample rate of up to 64ksps. A phase delay compensation block between each channel pair corrects for phase delay. This device also has a low temperature coefficient internal voltage reference. An SPI is used for communication with an MCU, and operates down to 2.7V for compatibility with 3V MCUs.
